Windows 10 Versions
The version of Windows 10 running on Leica Windows tablets is not the same as the one typically installed on standard PCs or laptops. Leica Windows tablets run Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel), referred to as Windows 10 LTSC. Windows 10 LTSC is a specialised version of Windows designed for fixed-purpose, enterprise-grade devices such as Leica tablets.
The Benefit of LTSC
The CS30, CC170, CC180 and CC200 tablets were specifically built and validated for Windows 10 LTSC due to its stability and extended support period. Security related updates will continue to be released until at least 2029 – refer to the dates shown below for your tablets’ details:

Should I upgrade my Leica Windows 10 LTSC tablet to Windows 11 LTSC?
No. Leica Windows tablets have not been designed or validated for Windows 11 LTSC. Therefore, upgrading these devices is strongly discouraged. Any attempt to upgrade your tablet to Windows 11 is at the user’s own risk and will not be supported.
